In an auction, an authentic masterpiece of high fashion in miniature: Barbie Indigo Obsession, created by the multi-award-winning New York fashion designer Byron Lars. This splendid model represents the fourth and final doll of the famous and exclusive Runway Collection.
Released in 2000, this magnificent Barbie embodies contemporary, sophisticated elegance. It wears a bold indigo-toned tailored suit, featuring a fitted jacket with contrast topstitching and sparkling crystal buttons, paired with a mermaid-cut skirt enriched by an asymmetrical hem finely embroidered with multicolored floral motifs. The look is completed by a sumptuous faux fur stole/armwear in gray-silver, coordinated dangling earrings, and an exclusive ultra-short platinum blonde haircut that highlights the doll’s wonderful facial features.

Certificate (C.O.A.): The original certificate of authenticity is present, sealed in its protective sleeve and affixed inside the rear compartment of the box (IMG_7025.jpg, IMG_7026.jpg).
Box: The luxurious book-style “gatefold” packaging preserves its structural elegance. The front (IMG_7017.jpg) with the Byron Lars signature decorative band, the sides (IMG_7018.jpg, IMG_7020.jpg), the top (IMG_7021.jpg), and the bottom with factory data (IMG_7022.jpg) show natural and widespread foxing/yellowing of the paper due to age and storage, typical of this vintage light-colored cardboard.
