Description from the seller
Land Rover Defender 200 TDI 1992, turbo diesel 2.500 engine with manual gearbox.
The car has been completely restored from the body to the interior, the restoration project was completed in June 2023 in Italy (former registration). The bodywork and paint are in excellent condition, with no dents or rust.
It is in very good mechanical condition; in June 2023 a service was performed with replacement of the engine oil, oil filter, fuel filter and air filter. The timing belt/chain was inspected but not altered. It comes out of service with an invoice to support it, to pass the technical inspection and obtain French registration.
The exhaust pipe has been replaced with a new one.
There are no electrical faults; the mechanicals are in order except for a slight oil seepage at the engine gaskets, but this is very common for a car of this age and size.
It was originally blue but has been repainted in shiny black with black rims.
Externally, the hood has been replaced by a fiberglass hood from the Puma model, the grille has been redesigned and it is equipped with fully restored LED headlights and a rear wheel arch cover.
Amande-shaped protective grilles on the front bumpers, door sill grilles and underbody.
New tires and rear shocks.
Wooden steering wheel.
An infotainment system with a seven-inch screen has been installed, functioning as a radio, navigator and monitor with reversing camera.
Inside, the seat upholstery has been redone, new door panels, new front armrest, rear leather benches with the addition of four seat belts and new carpet lining.
The rear windows have been removed and replaced with opaque plexiglass covering the whole rear, giving it a more modern look with an attractive design.
Overall, the car is in excellent condition and has a timeless style that makes it eternal.
No service book is provided, but the excellent condition of the engine suggests that the mileage is authentic.
No work to be planned. It only remains to start it up and go for a drive.
