DAB sign - Advertising sign - Resin

Splendid ORIGINAL advertisement for the DAB brewery brand. Very common in the 60s/70s for creating exhibition signs for pubs and corporate offices.

These signs were made with a mold into which resin was poured, which allowed very defined details (such as hop leaves on the edge) while keeping the object relatively light compared to bronze or solid copper.

To give it a metallic appearance, two techniques were used: galvanoplasty (bronzing/copper plating) or powder-coated metallization.

This sign was produced in Germany.
