Description from the seller
M for Miró — The Artphabet
Edition 2/10 — 60 x 60 cm
This work is part of The Artphabet, an artistic project developed by the digital artist Cess, in which each letter of the alphabet pays homage to key figures of modern art and visual culture.
In this piece, the letter M is transformed into a tribute to Joan Miró, reinterpreting his poetic and symbolic language through a minimalist composition charged with expressiveness. The typography breaks down into fine lines, organic shapes, and seemingly naïve graphic elements, but carefully balanced.
The work incorporates characteristic traits of Miró’s universe: free-form strokes, floating dots, biomorphic shapes, and a color palette of primary colors — yellow, red, blue, and black — that evoke his unmistakable style. Each element appears suspended in space, generating a sense of lightness, spontaneity, and play.
The composition, while seemingly simple, is carefully orchestrated to create a dynamic visual rhythm, where the lines act as connections between shapes, suggesting movement and an open narrative inviting the viewer’s interpretation.
The three-dimensionality provides a contemporary reading, translating Miró’s pictorial language into a digital sculptural environment where the elements gain physical presence without losing their ethereal character.
The work has been created through a completely digital 3D process (CGI), modeled in an artisanal manner with special attention to composition, balance, and the relationship between emptiness and form, achieving a clean, poetic, and highly conceptual aesthetic.
The Artphabet has had wide international reach, being disseminated in numerous media of design, art, and visual culture, establishing itself as one of the most prominent artistic typography projects within the recent digital realm.
Cess is an artist specializing in digital art, CGI, and artificial intelligence, with a solid track record in the creative sector, having collaborated with international brands such as Apple, Google, Prada, Vogue, and MTV, among others.
The work is presented in high-quality Giclée print on polycotton canvas, guaranteeing excellent reproduction of color, form, and the subtlety of the digital original.
