Jaeger electronic tachometer, original, 12 cm by 12 cm by 7 cm, dating from 1950–1960, in very good condition with minor wear.
Description from the seller
This is a vintage electronic tachometer from Jaeger Italia, a classic analog instrument used on various historic cars, predominantly from the 1960s and 1970s.
Main function: It measures the number of revolutions of the engine shaft per minute. Unit of measure: The dial bears the inscription G/min x 100, meaning the value indicated by the needle must be multiplied by 100 (for example, the figure 40 corresponds to 4,000 RPM).
Scale: It goes up to a maximum of 80 (equivalent to 8,000 RPM).
Technology: It is labeled ELECTRONIC, which indicates that it takes the RPM signal electronically (usually from the negative terminal of the ignition coil) and not via a rotating mechanical flexible cable.
