All wine shipments in the European Union must transit through tax warehouses, and may therefore suffer delays due to customs clearance.
For the European Union, the cost of shipping includes the payment of excise duty in your country, customs procedures for export and import of wine. You will receive tracking information before delivery, when the wine has arrived at the Italian tax warehouse.
