High-relief carved wooden panel with heraldic motifs, made of walnut or chestnut.
The central design is a traditional coat of arms that evokes the imagery of medieval nobility.
The helm is placed above the shield, crowned and in profile.
The shield bears a pattern of vertical stripes (pale).
The whole ensemble is framed by lush vegetal forms (volutes and acanthus leaves).
These Baroque filigrees embrace the shield, giving symmetry and dynamism to the whole.
