Italy- 11 original postcards and cards from the fascist period and World War II (1935-1943)
Beautiful collection consisting of 11 original Italian postcards and cards dating from the fascist period and World War II. The collection includes propaganda subjects, military scenes, aviation, Italian colonialism, postcards "Vinceremo", satirical illustrations and iconographic documents of the era.
Among the pieces present are a suggestive illustration with an allegorical figure and a soldier, a postcard with a quotation from Benito Mussolini, a propaganda cartoon against the "demoplurocracy", a map of Sudan, images related to Italian colonial possessions and a rare card dedicated to Saint Christopher, patron saint of Barga, with text by Morando Stefani, of particular interest for collectors of local history and of the Twenty Years’ period.
Some specimens show travel and bear handwritten notes, postmarks and original stamps, elements that enhance their historical and collector interest. The items are generally in good condition, with normal signs of aging and use, as visible in the photographs. All pieces are original from the period.
