Pair of adjustable brass and bronze wall sconces with a single-light arm in cast alloy bearing a very beautiful original gilded patina.
The arm is designed in the shape of an architectural baluster.
The mounting plate features a Renaissance-inspired decorative motif.
The candle holder rests on a wide circular drip pan with a beaded edge, designed to hold the wax.
The arm is connected to the plate by a pivot hinge fixed by a pin.
The sconces are of Neo-Renaissance style from the 19th century, very in fashion under Napoleon III.

Excellent condition, no missing parts, nor damage. Beautiful patina of the period.

Paire d’appliques orientables en laiton et bronze à un bras de lumière en alliage coulé avec une très belle
patine dorée d’origine.
Le bras est conçu en forme de balustre architecturé.
La platine de fixation affiche un décor d’inspiration renaissance.
Le porte bougie repose sur une large bobèche circulaire à bords godronnés, conçu pour 
retenir la cire.
Le bras est relié à la platine par une charnière à pivot bloqué par une goupille.
Les appliques sont de style Néo-Renaissance du XIXe siècle très en vogue sous Napoléon III.

Excellent état, pas de manque, ni d’accident. Belle patine d'époque.
