Japanese Kanna Plane Blade & Chip Breaker Set (5 Sets) – Vintage Woodworking Tools – 1508 g

Item Description

A collection of traditional Japanese kanna (woodworking plane) main blades and matching chip breakers (uragane/cap irons), comprising 5 sets in total.

These vintage tools display the craftsmanship of traditional Japanese woodworking and feature engraved Japanese inscriptions on several blades. The set shows signs of age, workshop use, oxidation, rust, wear, and patina acquired through years of use and storage.

Suitable for collectors of Japanese tools, traditional woodworking enthusiasts, restorers, or those interested in studying historical Japanese hand tools. The inscriptions, forging characteristics, and aged surfaces make this lot particularly appealing as a representative collection of authentic Japanese kanna components.
