Relic of Saint Gabriel de l’Addolorata presented in a round reliquary made of silvered metal with a red textile-lined interior, with a handwritten label “S. Gabrielis”
Accompanied by its authentic original dated Rome, April 20, 1921, issued by the Congregation of the Passionists and signed by the Superior General, with an impressed seal.
Saint Gabriel de l’Addolorata (1838–1862) was an Italian Passionist religious, renowned for his intense devotion to the Virgin of Sorrows. He died very young and rapidly became a major figure of popular piety and was canonized in 1920. He is today regarded as a model of purity and zeal for Catholic youth.
