Description from the seller
SAE 3000+ SAE 220
Preamplifier + Power Amplifier
At the start of the 1970s, if you were seeking the ultimate in transistor amplification, SAE was the reference brand.
The model presented is the Preamplifier / Power Amplifier set SAE 3000 + SAE 220, from the 1978 range. It is the export model designed for Europe and compatible with 220/240-volt mains.
The SAE 3000 Preamplifier
Faithful to the philosophy that the cleaner the signal the better, the SAE 3000 is a rack-mounted model with advanced controls for a sound of exceptional purity. Its technical specifications are such that it is hard to believe it dates from the 1970s.
The SAE 220 Amplifier
This minimalist yet high-performance amplifier is the little brother of the SAE 2200, exactly the same amplifier but without the LED VU meters.
The build quality is exceptional: no plastic components. The cooling fins and the chassis attest to a robust design suited to high loads and powerful output.
Their presentation and performance will delight even the most demanding audiophiles.
