Description from the seller
Zorki 1 with Industar 22 3.5/50 (no minimum price) carefully copied Leica II model from 1932. Made in 1955. Zorki translates to sharp-eyed in Cyrillic script. Sliding Industar 22 - f/3.5/50mm with original metal lens cap and leather carrying bag. (The cap is loose) During the German advance in 1942 Ukraine (which had since 1941 been part of the USSR) was fully occupied. As a result, camera production in Kharkov from 1942 to 1947 was completely at a standstill. Therefore the Russians moved the production of optical components for the Red Army from a suburb of Moscow to Krasnogorsk. The Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant (KMZ). After the war KMZ got hold of the designs, which they had seized as war loot and wartime funds compensation from the Zeiss Ikon factories in Jena, Germany. And you can bid on this piece of history in this beautiful condition.)
