Antique porcelain 31-piece dinner service by Brüder Simson from Germany, ca. 1885–1920, in blue Zwiebelmuster, including 8 dinner plates, 8 deep plates, 8 salad plates, 1 terrine with lid, 1 sauce tureen, 1 square bowl, 3 platters (one with cutlery marks), and 1 bowl, weighing 35 kg, in good used condition with minimal wear and a small burn mark, most pieces stamped with the S mark (the sauce tureen bears a different mark).

The Simson brothers bought the manufactory in 1883 from August Henneberg.
Known were the Jewish brothers Simson for their weapons factory in Suhl and their DDR mopeds.

The service is in really good condition. undamaged and shows very few signs of use.
The craftsmanship is age-appropriate; here and there there is also a small burn mark.
