Education/demonstration model - Glass - 1850-1900

The Crookes tube in perfect condition, used in physics laboratories in the early 20th century to study electrical conduction in rarefied gases, and it enabled the discovery of cathode rays traveling in a straight line.
It is considered the direct ancestor of the cathode ray tube that powered televisions and CRT monitors for much of the twentieth century.
