Mannequin - Wood, Textile, Terracotta

Splendid and rare antique mannequin, datable to between the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century ('700/'800), ideal for collectors of sacred art and antiques.
The mannequin features a beautiful polychrome head with an intense expression and glass eyes, complete with its period fabric dress. Material: Body and limbs in wood, head finely worked and painted.
Joints: Limbs are articulated with original wooden pins from the period.
Height: About 20 cm (mannequin height excluding the bulk of the dress).
Condition
The item is authentic to its era and shows the usual signs of time that testify to its history. Specifically:
Missing some fingers on the hands (as visible in the close-up photos). It can be noted that the arms and hands can be repositioned; they move and are not fixed, indeed having movable joints.
The wooden base/background of the body shows signs of wear and structural damage of time.
Overall a piece with great charm, perfect as it is or for a conservative restoration.
