I propose for sale an elegant Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1960 Chronograph Automatic, reference 2598, in steel, with a stunning ivory dial and bicompax chronograph configuration.

The watch features a stainless steel case with a soft, slightly cushion-shaped form, typical of the Vintage 1960 line from Girard-Perregaux. The ivory dial is characterized by vintage-style applied/print Arabic numerals, peripheral minute scale, chronograph counters at 3 and 9 o'clock, blued hands for the chronograph functions, and the “Automatic” indication at 6 o'clock. The overall aesthetic result is very refined, with a classic yet sporty setup.

The watch is accompanied by Girard-Perregaux international warranty, stamped by the Monile jewelry store and dated 19/10/2003, as well as original box, documentation/booklets and tags visible in the photos.
The piece has been worn very infrequently, less than 10 total uses declared, and has been carefully preserved for most of its life. The general aesthetic conditions are very good/good, with minor signs compatible with age and preservation. The case appears well preserved, the dial is clean and legible, and the crystal is in good condition according to the photos.
The black leather strap with crocodile/alligator finish is also very well preserved on the exterior; the inside shows normal signs of aging and preservation, consistent with a watch of over twenty years.
The watch is fully functional. The automatic movement winds properly and the chronograph has been tested: start, stop and reset operate correctly.
