This aesthetic restoration draws inspiration from Japan’s cultural and technological boom in 1982. After studying and evaluating at least three different graphic solutions, I selected and calibrated a pattern that harmonizes perfectly with the FX-3’s geometry. The design blends iconic elements of tradition (Mount Fuji, the Japanese crane) with the pixelated and grid-like aesthetics of the nascent digital revolution. A millimeter-perfect composition ensures optimal visibility of the design despite the fragmentation of panels on the camera’s front side.
