Aeternum is a 2026 steel abstract sculpture by Javi Villarroel Seoane, hand-signed, in excellent condition, measuring 103 x 29 x 23 cm, produced by JVSculptures and featuring black with brown, silver and beige tones.
Description from the seller
With Aeternum the intangible takes shape and eternity is present, materializing an infinity through its endless form, where lines flow ethereally and intertwine in a continuous cycle, with no beginning or end.
If you traverse its surface from the outside, you will end up inside at the same point, the same happens if it is traversed from its interior.
Its oxidized patina frozen by a unique artisanal solution symbolizes the interaction of time with matter, showing how the ephemeral can transform into the eternal.
This controlled finish, unlike corten steel, does not stain, allowing the sculpture to be placed both indoors and outdoors, maintaining its timeless presence. Its exterior presence is fully viable.
* The rectangular support is complementary and part of the Atria sculptural furniture collection by Javi Villarroel Seoane.
With the piece Atria Minor I the height is 1.55 cm*
Technical data:

Finish: Black paint for the base and controlled rust patina stopped.
Measurements: 103x29x23 (together with the Atria Minor I piece the height is 1.55 cm in height)

More than steel, more than art:
Javi Villarroel Seoane is a contemporary sculptor who translates his ideas into a living testimony of creativity. From his studio in Bilbao, Spain, he develops sculptures with metal and design furniture, a material he masters with expertise and that allows him to create diverse artistic expressions.
His trajectory includes numerous exhibitions at the national level, and his pieces are part of collections spread across several European countries, the United Kingdom and Asia, reflecting the international reach of his work.
His solid training and twenty years of experience underpin the technical quality of his sculptures. He holds degrees in welding instruction, mechanical fabrication design, industrial boilermaking, artistic forging, sculpture and hot sculpture. His constant drive for self-improvement led him to become a diving welder, an experience that broadened his knowledge from a unique and highly specialized perspective.
Parallel to his creative work, Javi has contributed significantly to professional training in his field. He has taught hundreds of welders through programs of the Basque Government, among others, and has delivered artistic welding courses, sharing his vision, technique, and deep respect and love for the craft and metal.
In addition to being recognized as a distinguished artist of the Basque Country, in 2025 the Bilbao City Council acknowledged his career and entrepreneurial spirit by granting him an Entrepreneurship Award, an honor that highlights his commitment to art and his contribution to the cultural and educational landscape of the city.
His work is featured in the second volume of "La escultura vasca contemporánea," recently published.
With a steadfast vocation and ongoing artistic research, Javi continues shaping a singular journey that crosses borders and positions him as an essential figure in contemporary metal-based art.
