Description from the seller

Buffalo Horns

Stunning pair of buffalo horns, in excellent condition, prepared by skilled hands and placed on two beautiful wooden pedestals to enhance their importance and beauty.
They presumably date from the Italian colonial era, more likely the first half of the 20th century, a date that can be inferred from the type of screws used to fix the horns to the pedestal: that type of screws was used until the 1950s, so the work was probably done earlier.
The horns are in excellent condition, with small signs of wear, almost insignificant, while the age of the objects is more evident in the details of the base; an easy restoration would be possible, but in our opinion it would destroy the charm of the antique and the lived-in feel.

They will become a beautiful collectible object in a house with a unique atmosphere.

Maximum dimensions: 90x27x21 cm approximately
Horn length: 740 mm approximately
Horn diameter: 110 mm approximately
Wooden base diameter: 19 cm approximately
Material: Horn
Origin: Italy / Italian colonial Africa
Era: presumably the 1950s
Workmanship: handmade
Condition: good overall condition with small signs of time on the base visible in the photo; the horns are in excellent condition.

The photos are part of the description; please look carefully.
Shipping with trackable package.
Being unique collectible items, the packaging is made with extreme care and tailored for each single piece to ensure its integrity during transport until delivery.
