Description from the seller

RETIRED
WH021 “ Pz . Kpfw . III Ausf.N ”

The Panzer III Ausf.N variant was an "assault tank" produced to meet the specific need for a more robust tank that could face the Soviet T-34 more effectively.

The designers decided to use the short-barreled 7.5 cm main gun together with a special "hollow-charge" projectile.

This model also included additional armor, especially around the turret.

The production of these “N” variants began in June 1942 and continued until August 1943. Just over 700 units were built during this period. Most were conversions and upgrades of existing Ausf.L and Ausf.M tanks.

This new version earned a good reputation among its crews and saw action primarily on the Eastern Front. Some models were also transferred from German arsenals to Romania, Slovakia and Croatia after being replaced by newer German armored vehicles.

Our K&C model is in the typical military gray color and comes with a figure of a tank commander.
