Created by Philippe Starck, Miss K plays with contrasts and perceptions. When it is off, its outer metallic shell appears opaque and reflective. Once illuminated, it reveals a luminous inner diffuser, similar to the radiograph of a traditional table lamp. Starck is known for using materials in surprising ways to alter our collective perception, and Miss K is no exception. It is a playful reinterpretation of tradition, inviting us to look beyond the surface and reconsider everyday objects
