Description from the seller
Title:
Japanese Military Binoculars — Crown 6×24 — Officer's Field Binoculars with Original Leather Hard Case — WWII Era
Description:
A genuine pair of Japanese military field binoculars marked with the CROWN maker's insignia, specification-stamped 6×24 with 9.5° field of view. Complete with the original brown leather hard case with shoulder strap — a rare survival of the complete set.
The Binoculars
The body retains its original black crinkle-finish coating, showing honest age and field wear consistent with wartime use. The central focus wheel operates smoothly. Both eyepieces adjust independently. Optics remain clear — the view through the lenses is unobstructed and functional, with no significant fogging or internal damage.
The Case
The original brown leather hard case is structurally sound, with spring-loaded clasp mechanism and shoulder strap intact. Interior leather shows age-related wear but holds its shape. A rare survival alongside the binoculars themselves.
