Bowl - Porcelain - Yellow-Ground Bowl

A Chinese Republic period (1912–1949) yellow-ground famille rose bowl, inspired by Qianlong imperial wares. The exterior is decorated with colourful auspicious seal-script medallions, including “Jie Mei Shou” (介眉寿) and other longevity blessings, reserved against an elegant incised diaper ground. The base bears an iron-red apocryphal four-character Qianlong mark.

The bowl is exceptionally finely potted, with a remarkably thin and lightweight porcelain body, reflecting the high standard of craftsmanship associated with this refined type of porcelain.

Height: 11 cm.

Condition: No post-production damage, with no chips, cracks or repairs detected. Minor firing imperfections and light wear consistent with age are present. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.
