Pair of gilt bronze candelabra, finely chased in a Napoléon III neoclassical with rocaille and foliate details, dating to 1850–1900, each with a draped female figure supporting four scroll light arms and a marble base, in excellent overall condition.

Pair of finely chased gilt bronze candelabras resting on circular bases of veined black marble. Each shaft is adorned with a draped female figure in a girdle, rendered in the neoclassical taste, supporting a bouquet of four light arms with Rocaille and foliate decoration.
The arms, motioned and richly adorned with scrolls, foliage and floral motifs, terminate in bobèches with stylized leaf decor. The pedestal features a stylized vegetal motif resting on a marble base.
Decorative work characteristic of the eclectic Napoléon III taste, blending Louis XV (rocaille) influence and neoclassical.
Very good overall condition.
Dimensions: 35 cm in height, 32 cm in diameter.
