Arnaud Leturcq was born in France in 1961. He is a contemporary French painter, best known for his urban and maritime landscapes painted in oil or acrylic and with a highly expressive palette-knife technique.

He is linked to the Brittany region, especially to towns such as Ploubazlanec and Paimpol, recurring themes in his work.

He mainly works in contemporary figurative painting, with scenes of ports, rural landscapes, historic cities, and Mediterranean or Moroccan settings.

His works are usually executed with thick, textural brushwork, using the palette knife a lot and vibrant colors.
