Philco 5115/Table Transistor Receiver (c. 1968) – Wooden Cabinet – Fully Working – From the Collection of a Radio store owner – No Reserve
A stylish late-1960s Philco transistor table radio combining elegant Mid-Century design with solid-state reliability. Finished in a beautifully polished wooden cabinet with brushed aluminium trim, this European-made receiver features Long Wave, Medium Wave and VHF/FM reception, making it both a functional vintage radio and an attractive interior piece.
From the collection of a dedicated radio collector, this well-preserved example has been carefully maintained over the years. Tested and fully working, with good reception across the available bands. The radio retains its original telescopic antenna, European station dial, Celestion loudspeaker and distinctive removable red 9V battery compartment. The rear panel offers connections for a pick-up (P.U.), tape recorder/output, extension speaker and external aerial.
A beautiful example of late-1960s industrial design, ideal for collectors of vintage radios or Mid-Century interiors.
