Splendid and highly elegant desk or travel alarm clock signed 'Les Must de Cartier', dating from 1991.
This specific lot represents an absolute rarity for its conservative condition: a true New Old Stock (NOS) item, never used, kept safeguarded in its original set for over thirty years.
The square geometric design combines bright gold plating with refined cylindrical burgundy enamel/lacquer inserts, an iconic Maison tone also echoed in the large Roman numerals that decorate the bezel. The bottom gold flap folds perfectly with a snap over the dial, serving both as a protective lid for transport and as a sturdy base to rest on.
