Description from the seller

Vintage French Zig-Zag Concertina Corkscrew - Jules Bart Model, 1920s/1930s

Up for auction is an iconic and genuine antique French "Zig-Zag" concertina corkscrew, a mechanical marvel from the early 20th century.
Invented and patented by Jules Bart in Nancy, France, this early production piece features the characteristic stamped disk detailing its historical legal protections.

- **Brand:** ZIG ZAG (stamped on the handle)
- **Origin:** France
- **Period:** 1920s–1930s (Early edition, no numbers on the reverse side of the disk)
- **Inscriptions on Central Disk:** "Bte S.G.D.G. Fr & Et. M. & M. DEP."
- **Material:** Nickel-plated steel
- **Dimensions (Fully Extended): 26.5 cm

The corkscrew is in completely original, uncleaned condition, showing an authentic aged patina with superficial rust spotting on the linkages and worm.
The structure is structurally intact with no broken rivets, missing pins, or bent arms. The mechanical pantograph mechanism moves freely.
The wire worm (corkscrew spiral) is sharp and straight. Excellent restoration project or a rustic display piece for vintage barware collectors.

The product will be professionally packed and sent safely to your address by local post.
The pictures of the product are made with the highest possible resolution, precisely to capture possible small defects (small scratches, stains, defect), the pictures are part of the product description.
