Two oval oven dishes with a copper and brass frame, fitted with Pyrex France glass inserts, designed by Rolf Sinnemark for Nilsjohan Sweden in 1975–1985, signed, in very good condition with minor signs of age, and dimensions glass 35 x 24 x 6.5 cm, total length with handles 41 cm, weight 3.2 kg.

Two oval baking dishes with a frame made of copper and brass
- Nilsjohan Sweden.
The dishes differ only in dimensions.
Pyrex France ovenproof glass dish.
Dishes designed by Rolf Sinnemark.
Swedish designer and glass artist Rolf Sinnemark (born 1941)
studied ceramics and glass in Stockholm.
He worked at Nilsjohan, Kosta Boda, Rörstrand and Gense.
Sinnemark’s works can be seen in many prestigious art museums around the world, such as the Corning Museum of Glass in New York,
Hokkaido Museum in Japan and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
The dishes can be used to bake dishes in the oven.
Origin of both dishes: 1975–1985.
Both dishes are signed.
Dimensions:
glass 35 x 24 x 6.5 cm,
length with handles 41 cm,
weight 1820 g.
glass 30 x 21 x 6.5 cm,
length with handles 36 cm,
weight 1390 g.
Glass without cracks or damage –
there are only very small signs of wear inside the glass.
Both frames have minimal natural discolorations.
They have been cleaned of deposits.
Old delicate patina.
