The artist, distant from schools and trends, creates his works as a free man, following exclusively his own ideals and personal objectives.
In this painting on a textured base the artist has drawn many colored shades that open up and then fade, creating areas of light and others of shadow. The color bands are multiple and with small insertions of contrasting colors that recall Iris, the Goddess of all colors, and evoke good chromatic emotions.
Paolo Contin has a long artistic career. He trained in the world of design and since 1980 he has worked in fashion and art. Since 1999 he began to exhibit his works; in 2002 his first solo show in Padua, followed by many exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Sydney.
