Bruno Guidi (Livorno, 1916 – Rome, 2002), Italian painter, best known for the intense chromatic strength of his works.

Some information about his career:

* Born in Livorno, he initially also pursued opera singing before definitively choosing painting.
* He worked and traveled extensively in Africa, Australia, Greece and Anatolia, experiences that influenced his palette and subjects.
* In the postwar years he was very active in Rome, where he gained notoriety with the cycle dedicated to the “105 Churches of Rome.”
* In the seventies and eighties he frequently exhibited also in Grosseto, a city to which he was particularly attached. In 2023 a retrospective was dedicated to him.

* Nato a Livorno, inizialmente si dedicò anche al canto lirico prima di scegliere definitivamente la pittura.  
* Lavorò e viaggiò a lungo in Africa, Australia, Grecia e Anatolia, esperienze che influenzarono la sua tavolozza e i suoi soggetti.  
* Negli anni del dopoguerra fu molto attivo a Roma, dove ottenne notorietà con il ciclo dedicato alle “105 Chiese di Roma”.  
* Negli anni Settanta e Ottanta espose frequentemente anche a Grosseto, città alla quale era particolarmente legato. Nel 2023 gli è stata dedicata una retrospettiva.
