Description from the seller

Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966, is a Marche-born artist whose life is rooted in-skilled craftsmanship. For forty years he worked in the shadows of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, painting, and chroming.

The turning point in his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always kept inside. What for decades had been “only” an exceptional technique thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Among these are the appearance at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the Centro d'Arte e Cultura VERUM, and the inclusion of his works within the renowned Private Collection Fuser. From craftsman to signature of the Neo-Pop landscape, Sagrasse demonstrates how a lifetime of experience can be transformed into pure and recognized artistic expression.

Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colored mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern.

Sagrasse’s work sits squarely in the vein of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the association with Banksy is evident for its strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical light, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, and Richard Orlinski.

The object is an exclusive creation by Sagrasse.
It is a handmade artwork, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural hallmark of fully manual workmanship.
It is advised not to expose to heat sources; clean with a soft cloth only, avoiding detergents.
