Candleholder - Gilt bronze - Imposing, Gothic 94.5 cm

Monumental Gothic altar candlestick or Easter candlestick, made of gilded bronze, richly adorned with Gothic architectural elements. The tall, hexagonal stem is decorated with trelliswork, pinnacles and niches in which religious figures are placed. The profiled base also shows Gothic decorations and niches with figures. The open-work candle holder is provided with a central pin for a large candle.

This impressive museum-worthy ecclesiastical object dates from the 19th century. It is a decorative and rare liturgical object that is offered at auction only sporadically. It is highly suitable for collectors of religious art, antiques, or church interiors.
