Description from the seller
These vintage water kettles are from the Hilversum-based Bredemeijer. Made in Holland! Probably from the 1950s.
The stainless steel kettle is around 60–70 years old, but still shines like the old days. Made of stainless steel and fully mirror-polished. With a handle wrapped in black plastic cord. A handsome shape, tall handle and a low center of gravity, making it pour nicely. The copper one is from an earlier date and therefore also has more age spots.
Good for about 1.2 liters of water. Also suitable as a teapot.
The lid is of course removable to pour your water or to clamp in your tea bag.
At the bottom stamped with G. Bredemeijer Hilversum Holland.
Bredemeijer was founded in 1914 as a factory for household products. The factory was located in the old center of Hilversum. Around the 1950s, Bredemeijer specialized toward teapots due to the high demand on the market at that time
Specifications:
Height (including handle): 21 cm
Diameter: 19.5 cm
Length of pouring spout: 5
