LEGO - 10256 - Taj Mahal - 2010-2020

The enormous ivory-white marble mausoleum is one of the world’s most famous architectural wonders. It was built in 1631 by order of Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Empress Mumtaz Mahal.

This newly reintroduced LEGO Creator Expert version from 2008 includes the four façades of the structure with beautiful arches, balconies and curved windows. The central dome, underlying rooms with a dome, and surrounding minarets are finished with decorative finials, and the raised platform is outlined with recessed arches. The model is finished with graceful details and refined tile work at the base. The set consists of more than 5,900 bricks and has been designed to provide the builder with a pleasant building experience.
