Elegant English Art Deco mantel clock by Enfield, retailed by James Walker Ltd., 472 Oxford Street, London. Dating from the 1930s, this beautiful mantel clock features a solid oak case, chrome bezel, and original Roman numeral dial.
The clock is fitted with an 8-day mechanical movement, striking the Westminster chime on five gong rods. It has three winding arbors for the time, quarter chime, and hour strike. The original winding key is included.
The oak case is in very good condition with an attractive dark finish. The dial, hands, and movement appear to be original, and the movement is clean. A fine example of British Art Deco clockmaking, suitable for collectors or as an elegant decorative piece.
