Description
Offered for sale is a Leica Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH. (E39) in black finish.
The Summicron-M 35mm ASPH. is one of Leica’s most highly regarded M lenses, known for its exceptional sharpness, beautiful contrast, natural colour rendition and classic Leica character. Its compact size and fast f/2 aperture make it an excellent everyday lens for both film and digital Leica M cameras.
This example has been carefully maintained and presents very well, with only light signs of normal handling. The aperture ring clicks positively through all settings, and the focus ring rotates smoothly from 0.7 m to infinity.
The optics appear clean and clear when inspected, with no visible scratches, haze or fungus. Please refer to the photographs, which form part of the description and accurately show the cosmetic condition of the lens.

I purchased it in 2016 directly from the Leica Store Berlin. Since then, it has only been used twice and has otherwise been carefully stored as part of my private collection.
The lens is in excellent condition, both cosmetically and mechanically. The focus ring operates smoothly, the aperture functions correctly, and the optics appear clean and clear.
