Description:
Offered: A beautiful prehistoric tool (scraper or point) made from jet-black obsidian (natural volcanic glass). The object displays stunning shell-like fracture surfaces and very fine, prehistoric pressure flaking along the edges.

This piece was very likely found in France and incorporated into the well-known private collection of the Dutch collector B. Weber. By the last owner the label was affixed with the text B. Weber, obsidian, France?
A unique, aesthetic and perfectly documented top piece for the enthusiast of rare Stone Age artifacts.
