Description from the seller
Goebel Hummel Girl with Doll (Germany)
**Title: Girl with Doll** is a classic childhood series from the Hummel doll line, continuously produced since the 1930s.
**Brand and Era:** Produced by the Goebel workshop in Germany. The blue label on the bottom reads "Goebel W. Germany," indicating production during the period of German division (1949–1990). This makes it a highly collectible vintage porcelain doll. The handwritten serial number on the base is 49/0, corresponding to the standard small size (approximately 10cm in height).
**Craftsmanship and Materials:** Made from specially crafted German bisque-fired ceramic, entirely handmade from molds, assembled, and hand-painted in layers. The matte, soft, vintage glaze gives the colors a warm, aged feel. Each hand-painted brushstroke has subtle differences; no two pieces are exactly alike.
Costume (Traditional Bavarian Country Girl's Attire)
An orange-red headscarf wraps around light blonde curls, a signature look for little girls in the southern German countryside;
A cream-colored puff-sleeved top + dark brown vest, orange apron, paired with green striped stockings and black round-toed shoes, recreates the everyday clothing of a farm child from the past.
The base features a blue Goebel West German copyright logo at the center, with a central cutout for the firing process. The handwritten mold number 49/0 on the side wall is a standard original factory mark from the West German period.
Approximately 9cm tall, in good condition, without bumps, cracks, or crazing.
