Description from the seller
One of The Empresses, a series of five prints depicting carefully composed images of butterflies by Hirst, published by HENI Editions. Signed on a label affixed to the back.
‘The Empresses’ (H-10, 2022) continues Hirst’s acclaimed exploration of the butterfly as a metaphor for freedom, religion, life and death. Each image in the series consists of a giclée print mounted on aluminium composite, further screen printed with glitter, depicting a dazzling arrangement of red and black butterfly wings. The wings appear as if caught in motion, with the pattern transforming in a kaleidoscopic rhythm.
Condition: Mint. Minor imperfections may appear due to the production process. Due to the artist’s intended use of materials, the presence of loose glitter on the surface of the artwork is normal and should not be considered a condition issue. Sold in the original HENI packaging.
Ships from the UK. Please note that buyers are responsible for import taxes, if charged.
100% excellent customer service guaranteed.
