Description from the seller
Pair of Massively Cast Bronze Putti in the Late 19th Century / Early 20th Century
Important pair of cherubic putti in solid bronze, created using the lost-wax casting technique, dating to the end of the 19th century / beginning of the 20th century. The sculptures depict two finely modeled infant figures, characterized by meticulous attention to anatomical details and a delicate, harmonious expressive rendering.
The workmanship highlights soft, naturalistic modeling, with special attention to the faces, the curly hair, and the decorative elements that accompany the composition. The bronze patina, consistent with the period, further enhances the volumes and gives plastic depth to the whole.
Balanced proportions and the quality of the casting make the pair ideal for classical interiors, studies, or decorative art collections. Objects of great charm and presence, perfect as ornamental elements on sideboards, fireplaces, or bookshelves.
Dimensions:
Height: 44 cm
Width: 26 cm
Depth: 20 cm
Code: BRPZ7194
For deliveries to territories classified as ISLANDS, a surcharge on shipping costs is applied.

Please note that, being antique or vintage objects, there may be slight defects, signs of wear, or small imperfections due to their long journey through time. Such characteristics should be considered as part of the charm and historical value of each piece.
