Additional information: The figures were manufactured in February 1957. They were distributed by Märklin but produced by the company Sixtus Maier from Aurachtal (SIMA). Märklin had, at that time, an exclusive contract with SIMA and sold the figures in its own catalog and under its own brand name. The figures were made from metal castings and then hand-painted. They depict railway personnel and travelers of the 1950s. The travelers are intended to represent typical pedestrians and winter sports enthusiasts of the post-war period. In addition there are also railway employees.
