This set consists of a Technics SU-700 stereo integrated amplifier and a Technics ST-500 AM/FM stereo tuner. The amplifier is a “New Class A” model with features such as loudness and a phono input. Both devices have been tested and operate properly, with the tuner receiving stations and the amplifier correctly handling the inputs. vintage Technics hi-fi audio set from the late 1980s. The set consists of two separate components: Technics SU-700 Stereo Integrated Amplifier: A reliable Class-A stereo amplifier that at the time was known for its 'New Class A' circuitry and delivers a power of approximately 2 x 60 watts into 8 ohms. Technics ST-500 Quartz Synthesizer AM/FM Stereo Tuner: A matching radio tuner with a digital display and the ability to store up to 16 preferred stations. Main features of the set: Operation & Control: The amplifier features manual knobs for Bass, Treble and Balance, as well as a large volume knob on the right side. Inputs: There are physical push buttons to switch between different sources, including Phono (for a turntable), Tuner, CD/Aux, Tape 1 and Tape 2. Extra Features: Equipped with a Loudness button for fuller sound at low volumes and a built-in safety circuit.
