Giraffe with Button in Ear & Vintage Plush Monkey, Steiff, Germany, c. 1960–1970
Nice vintage lot consisting of a plush giraffe and a plush monkey.
The giraffe retains its original Steiff button in the left ear. The monkey is believed to be by Steiff, based on its construction, quality and the small hole in the left ear where a button appears to have been attached. However, as no button or label is present, this attribution cannot be confirmed.
Both animals are made of plush with felt details and display the charming character and craftsmanship typical of vintage German soft toys.
