A jasper bead talisman depicting an elephant second millennium AD or older.
In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving and grinding. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased 1976 in Islamabad/Pakistan by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
