Splendid and very rare dining service in fine German hard porcelain (Hartporzellan) Rosenthal - Germany
This set is not just tableware, but a piece of history that takes us back to old important residences thanks to the antique design with decorations in gold leaf.
The design is characterized by a refined floral motif on porcelain, complemented by floral decorations in pure gold as well.
Composition of the Set (73 pieces):
The dining service is extraordinarily rich despite some pieces missing and also includes pieces for tea and coffee.
The dining service comprises:
11 flat plates (Diameter: 25 cm)
8 soup/fund plates (diameter: 23.5 cm)
11 antipasto plates (Diameter 22 cm)
11 dessert plates (Diameter 20 cm)
1 large rectangular service plate (28 cm)
1 large round serving plate (diameter 32 cm)
1 oval serving plate (33 cm x 22 cm)
1 small oval serving plate (26 cm x 16 cm)
1 gravy boat with its plate (22 x 10 cm x h 10 cm)
1 large tureen (26 cm handle to handle x 21 cm)
1 small cruet for other sauces

Tea service
7 tea cups (diameter: 9 cm)
12 coasters/tea cups (diameter 14 cm)
1 teapot (h 20 cm x 22 cm)
1 sugar bowl (h 14 cm x 14 cm)

Coffee service
2 coffee cups + 2 coffee cup saucers

The service is very old, passed down from family to family and, for this reason, arrived to us with some pieces missing; however, for the dining service it is possible to assemble a set for 8 while for the tea set for 6.
The remaining pieces are in excellent condition.
We have preferred to keep the single pieces as spares in case they break; porcelain is very delicate, therefore packaging and shipping will be carried out with utmost care.
