Iconic antique Little Wanzer sewing machine by Wanzer S.M. Co. (ca. 1872/1874) in good, used condition with small signs of aging and stains, cast iron construction, 21 cm deep x 37 cm high x 37 cm wide, 10 kg, originating from Canada, including the original wooden transport case and fully functional.

Rare 'Little Wanzer' Sewing Machine with Original Case – Wanzer S.M. Co. – c. 1872/1874
Offered is an iconic piece of industrial history: an antique 'Little Wanzer' sewing machine, including the original wooden case. Produced by the renowned Wanzer Sewing Machine Company Limited from Hamilton, Canada, intended for the European market via the office on Great Portland Street in London.
This example is in beautiful, authentic condition and features the characteristic metal top plate. The plate bears the well-known 'Time Utilizer' trademark with the hourglass clearly visible, as well as the early patent dates from May and June 1867.
