Omega Genève Automatic 166.0168 (1974) – Caliber 1012 – 100% Original Condition. Description: For sale is a beautiful and completely original Omega Genève Automatic from 1974 (reference 166.0168) in exceptionally good collector's condition. This model is an absolute highlight for lovers of authentic vintage watches, as all critical components are in untouched original condition. Technical Data & Details: Reference: 166.0168 (engraved on the case back) Movement: Omega automatic caliber 1012 with quickset date and hacking function. 23 jewels, 28,800 A/h. Case: High-quality 20-micron gold cap (Placque Or G 20 Microns) with stainless steel case back. Dimensions: approx. 36.5 mm diameter (excluding crown). Dial: Original, beautifully vertically brushed gold dial with applied indices.

The case back features a contemporary, clean factory engraving on the outside: “WALZEN IRLE / 25 YEARS”. The watch was presented in as a prestigious gift for 25 years of service by the long-established German industrial company Walzen Irle GmbH. This gives the watch a wonderful, verifiable history. Condition & Function: The watch starts running immediately, keeps very precise time, and has an excellent power reserve of over 24 hours (indicating a healthy mainspring and efficient automatic winding). The quick-set date function works perfectly. Included: The watch comes on the black leather strap shown, including the original Omega buckle.
