Splendid vintage manual-wind chronograph of Swiss production (La Chaux-de-Fonds) from the 1950s. This Walker "Extra" embodies the golden era of sporty and elegant chronographs, with an imposing 18 carat yellow gold case that gives the wrist a strong and refined presence.
Case: Solid 18kt gold (750), hallmarked on the case back. Generous diameter typical of chronographs of the era.
Dial: Original with a splendid finish and double scale (tachymeter and telemeter). Arrow hands and applied Arabic numerals. Chronograph subdials at 3 and 9 o'clock.
Movement: Mechanical manual-wind, anti-magnetic.
Details: Snap-on case back with original Walker brand engravings. Original feuille (leaf) hands.
Total weight: 46 grams (a substantial weight that denotes the solidity of the gold case).
Conditions: Very good. The dial shows a natural patina that enhances its vintage character. Case well preserved with still sharp edges.
